Rocky Peak Bonsai was created by Warren & Jacki in 2003 as a small cottage business designed to allow them to continue their passion of creating bonsai by turning over a few trees each week at the local markets.  It soon became apparent that there was a growing interest in the art of bonsai, that many people were interested in this fascinating hobby but were put off by the perceived high cost and difficulty of obtaining quality trees and pre-bonsai.  
When it became apparent that the growing interest in bonsai was not limited to their local area they launched Rocky Peak Bonsai on the web, again as a small interest to test the market.  Due to the large amount of interest and great feedback received they have now upgraded their website and added an online shop.  While it still a reasonably small boutique business it is constantly growing and more products and species of trees are being added all the time.  They now import pots directly from China and have also sourced the best prices available for tools etc
on the Australian market.  

Currently in the process of setting up several acres of growing fields which will permit them to grow quality field grown bonsai which will be available in years to come.  They hope to provide the Australian market with a large range of different species of trees at various levels of maturity.
